Welcome to Pontillo Furniture Concepts online store.
I currently sell full size jewelry boxes, travel jewelry boxes, fly boxes and stash boxes
These boxes are made from a variety of domestic and exotic hardwoods. Handcrafted in Whitefish, Montana, these boxes can be used for fly fishing, jewelry or other small items.
Along with the items in the store, I also offer a full line of custom furniture, made on a commission basis. To view my portfolio and for more information on custom orders, visit my main website at www.pontillofurnitureconcepts.com
When ordering these boxes, you will have a choice of inserts:
- Fly boxes come with one flat and one ripple foam insert for both wet and dry flies.
- Travel jewelry boxes come with two felt inserts in the color of your choice, a black foam ring bar that holds three rings and two compartments for other jewelry.
- Stash boxes come with two felt inserts in the color of your choice.
All boxes are 4 x 6 inches and 1 1/2 inches deep. They use mortised in brass hinges and rare earth magnet closures. They are finished with an oil polyurethane finish that soaks into the wood fibers and allows the grain to "pop". The final coat is an oil and beeswax blend that is hand rubbed to develop the final sheen.
Laser engraving is available for all boxes. There is a choice of 9 standard designs with or without text. Custom engraving is also available for an additional cost. Custom engraving includes any graphics or text that you would like. Fee includes design assistance and engraver set up fee. For custom designs, I will work with you through e-mail to develop the proof for the engravers.
